2026 Clinics
Planning has now begun for this year's clinics! Please check back soon for clinic announcements.

Next up:

Matanuska-Susitna Borough
January 17, 2026

***Due to an upcoming winter storm that will impact travel for our medical team, we must postpone the Mat-Su Spay/Neuter Clinic scheduled for Saturday, January 17th.***

The safety of our volunteers, staff, and community members is always our top priority.

We understand this may be disappointing and appreciate your patience and understanding. We will be reaching out directly to all scheduled participants to share information about a new clinic date in the near future.

Thank you for your flexibility and continued support of Alaska Rural Veterinary Outreach

2025 Clinics Brought in Huge Success
Thank you to our amazing donors and sponsors,
ARVO provided a total of 10 rural clinics and several local clinics to over 500 Alaskan pets from late February thru December 2025:
Glennallen, Dillingham, Togiak, Cordova, Noorvik, Kiana, Kotzebue, Yakutat, Nome, Matanuska-Susitna Borough and Typhoon Halong clinics for all of your continued support.

THANK YOU DONORS!!
Without your support, none of this
would be possible.  You are with us, side by side, providing lifesaving surgery and vaccines to many very precious rural pets.  We are so grateful for your
compassion and generosity!

   Welcome!

Alaska Rural Veterinary Outreach, Inc., (ARVO) is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer, non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide access to basic veterinary care, with a focus on spay-neuter surgery, a helping hand, and advocacy and education for Alaska's rural pets and their people.

Our goal is to reduce the number of homeless, unwanted rural pets, reduce the high incidence of dog bites, especially to children, and increase the overall safety and health of rural communities.

If you have ever wondered how you might help rural pets, people and communities, we invite you to join our mission by donating, volunteering, and advocating for Alaska's rural pets.

Thank you!
