ARVO's Mission Statement

Alaska Rural Veterinary Outreach, Inc., (ARVO) is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer, non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide access to basic veterinary care, with a focus on spay-neuter surgery, a helping hand, and advocacy and education for Alaska's rural pets and their people.
Our goal is to reduce the number of homeless, unwanted rural pets, reduce the high incidence of dog bites, especially to children, and increase the overall safety and health of rural communities.
